Here are my top Draft Street Week 2 Picks to help you take advantage of their games and put some extra nickels in your pocketbook.

Draft Street Week 2 Picks: Quarterbacks

Aaron Rodgers, Green Bay Packers – $18,451: The Redskins were picked apart by Michael Vick and his average receivers. Enter Aaron Rodgers, his 4 plus options and a running game. If you can budget to pony up, Rodgers at least places.

Michael Vick, Philadelphia Eagles – $15,012: There isn’t a huge discount this week, but Vick will get plenty of yards through the air and will likely scamper some too. San Diego across country for an early game aligns for an excellent matchup for the Eagles too.

Terrelle Pryor, Oakland Raiders – $14,036: He lead the NFL in rushing headed into Monday night and the matchup is conducive to fantasy success. It isn’t pretty, but he also pushed the Colts to the brink last week and he has all the talent.

Chad Henne, Jacksonville Jaguars – $9380: Want to save some money on your QB? Here is your guy. It is what it is and if you choose to go cheap, the matchup isn’t horrendous in Oakland, although, the cross country trip isn’t ideal either. Remember, he’s cheap.

Draft Street Week 2 Picks: Running Backs

LeSean McCoy, Philadelphia Eagles – $16,664: It’ll cost you, but the video game skills are included. McCoy only caught 1 pass out of the backfield last week and was the focal point of the Eagles uptempo offense. San Diego traveling across country is a juicy matchup.

Matt Forte, Chicago Bears – $14,070: After the Vikings were run over by the Lions, there is no reason Matt Forte can’t do the same thing. He’ll be active in the passing game and looked mean on the ground last week against an excellent Bengals front 7.

Ray Rice, Baltimore Ravens – $13,538: The Browns’ Defense is better than the unit he has owned for years, but he’ll be the focus of the offense again and active in the passing game. He looked good against the Broncos with 8 catches and a score.

Eddie Lacy, Green Bay Packers – $10,212: Lacy struggled against San Francisco at times last week, but he scored, and Washington’s Defense looked porous against the Eagles. This could be a shootout and that is great news for Lacy getting a few touches near the goal line.

DeAngelo Williams, Carolina Panthers – $8101: The Bills have been gashed wide open by the run to the tune of 186 yards over their last 4 contests. I don’t like Williams’ chances of crossing the chalk in the Red Zone, but he’ll be serviceable on the cheap.

Ahmad Bradshaw, Indianapolis Colts – $6388: It was only a matter of time before Bradshaw took the lead in the Colts backfield. Vick Ballard’s injury just sped up the process. Bradshaw needs to be owned this week at this price, even if the matchup is tough.

Draft Street Week 2 Picks: Wide Receivers

Vincent Jackson, Tampa Bay Buccaneers – $13,942: 7 catches and 154 yards in Week 1 against a tough matchup bodes well for Jackson in the Week 2 game against the Saints. New Orleans is going to score, so Tampa is going to have to go vertical and Jackson should thrive.

Jordy Nelson, Green Bay Packers – $12,678: He is the most complete receiver on the Packers and the matchup is beautiful. Expect another big game in the shootout for Nelson. There are no health concerns here, after Nelson went good for 7 catches and 130 yards with a score in Week 1.

Dez Bryant, Dallas Cowboys – $11,808: Take the discount and run. There is no way the Chiefs will blanket and double cover Bryant all day and let Witten and Austin free. They’ll send pressure and it’ll open up opportunities for the Cowboys’ wideout. His ankle is fine.

Marlon Brown, Baltimore Ravens – $9728: Joe Haden will lock-down Torrey Smith, so Brown stands to build on his 2nd Half Week 1 performance. He’ll see targets and opportunity is the first requirement for fantasy success.

Chris Givens, St. Louis Rams – $7331: Givens only had 2 receptions and 27 yards last week, which was disappointing. However, there is only one direction to go from here and Givens will have a bigger impact this week without Patrick Peterson covering him.

Harry Douglas, Atlanta Falcons – $6384: If Roddy White isn’t a full go again this week and it looks like he isn’t, then Douglas stands to have another nice game. It is a little risky, but the price makes him an excellent bargain pick and 5 catches could reward.

Draft Street Week 2 Picks: Tight Ends

Vernon Davis, San Francisco 49ers – $10,764: After a big Week 1, Davis faces a tough matchup against the Seahawks, but he is in tune with Kaepernick and a special player. He’ll be force fed the ball again and is uncoverable.

Greg Olsen, Carolina Panthers – $8345: He will see targets and is one of Cam Newton’s most reliable receivers. The Panthers are going to go down-field more after Ron Rivera acknowledged that they were too conservative last week.

Brent Celek, Philadelphia Eagles – $7510: He is an underrated pass catcher who is perpetually overlooked and should exploit the Chargers’ who gave up 3 Tight End Touchdowns last week to Houston. Vick’s trust in him is a bonus.

Draft Street Week 2 Picks: Defense & Special Teams

Cincinnati Bengals – $7143: You’re going to pay, but there are a lot of great factors at play here. The Steelers don’t have a running game, there is the Monday Night Football pressure and the Bengals are really good. If you’ve got the nickles, throw them down.

Carolina Panthers – $5402: They’ve got play-makers all over the field, the Bills aren’t an explosive offense and the forecast is messy. They held the Seahawks to just 12 points, expect more Fantasy production this week from the Black Cats.

Philadelphia Eagles – $5076: Again, an early game across country for the Chargers against an improved Eagles Defense. The Chargers’ play-makers are few and far between and they’re going to be playing catch-up. This is a great buy-low opportunity.
